WBA hosts celebration to honor 50 years practicing law

The Wolverine Bar Association held a special celebration to honor some of its most esteemed and iconic lawyers and judges for 50 years practicing law in the State of Michigan. The landmark affair took place on July 13, 2022 at the historic Detroit Athletic Club, with U.S. attorney Dawn Ison as the keynote speaker.

“It was a wonderful occasion led by WBA Presidents Attorney Elliott Hall and Sherrie Farrell, along with Judge Cylenthia LaToye Miller. We wanted to honor them and show our appreciation for leading the way and for demanding justice. said WBA President Kim L. Ward. “This is a group of pioneers who held high positions early in their field and broke down barriers and shattered ceilings for others.
