Law student, Nnenna Amadie dies on the Nigerian Law School campus, allegedly due to medical negligence.

A student of the Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus, Nnenna Amadi, has died.

She is believed to have died due to alleged negligence by the school’s medical center.

The deceased was found to have had a severe asthma attack on Thursday August 11 and was rushed to the school medical centre.

Sources say the law school clinic only has one nurse and instead of giving Nnenna oxygen they gave her an injection because they had no oxygen .

She was then rushed to another hospital where she was confirmed dead on arrival. Sources claimed she kept saying, “I can’t breathe!” before she dies.

Another source, however, confirmed to TheNigeriaLawyer that the law school medical center had tried to adequately handle the situation but to no avail.

All attempts to confirm the exact cause of death with NLS management, at the time of filing this report, have been unsuccessful, with none of the school contacts accessible.

Amadi’s death comes just four months after losing his father in April this year.
