Curcio Mirzaian Sirot de Roseland launches a new family law firm

Curcio Mirzaian Sirot LLC on Monday announced an expansion with the launch of a new family law practice group. Additionally, the Roseland-based firm also announced that Jessica Swenson has joined as a partner and will chair the new practice area.

Swenson was previously a partner at Townsend, Tomaio & Newmark LLC.

Swenson brings nearly 15 years of experience to Curcio Mirzaian Sirot, where she will focus her practice on all aspects of matrimonial and family law. She is trained in collaborative law and is a certified family law mediator under the 1:40-1 rule. In addition to his previous position at Townsend, Tomaio & Newmark, LLC, Swenson has also worked at Cipriano Law Offices and Fox and Fox LLP, as well as clerk for the Hon. Michael Diamond and the Hon. George Sabbath in Passaic County Superior Court, Family Division. A volunteer attorney for the Battered Women’s Legal Advocacy Projects, a joint program of the Morris County Bar Association and the Jersey Battered Women’s Service, she is admitted to practice in New Jersey and in the United States District Court.

Swenson earned a JD from Seton Hall University School of Law and a BA from Rutgers University.
